Redwood

See more at the wood shed. These slabs can be purchaced unfinished for the listed price or finished and a base added.  I have far too many in all sizes to list them all. These pictures show that we have bar tops and table tops, as well as desk tops and project wood. Sizes and shapes vary as do prices, which depend on grain and other qualities of each individual slab.

Myrtle

More available at the wood shed. One of my favorite woods because of the extreme variety of the grain. I`ve been buying myrtle from Oregon for nearly 30 years. At one time myrtle was the only wood I worked for a living, doing clocks, mirrors, cutting boards, turned wood boxes, and vases. The wood I have is a mix of dimensions from years of collecting. Slabs, turning stock, and live edge wide boards.

Western Maple

See more at the wood shed. I`ve never seen or had this much nice maple!!!!  We have thousands of board feet of curly and quilted maple boards. 4/4 and 8/4 now in stock.  I use big leaf maple for hand mirrors, weather stations, turned bowls, vases, boxes, barrettes, and turned clocks.  It`s 3-dimensional grains are quilted, fiddle, burl, and curly, which can be a combination of all of the former.  I also have a good selection of  natural edge burl for rustic fire place mantels and table tops.

Table Bases

More at the wood shed. The picture is of a tall maple burl base for a dining table.  I have lots of redwood root bases in all sizes as well as buckeye burl coffee and dining table bases.  Most are dried for years, and all are fumigated.   These take time and care to dry properly.   I only use dry stable wood for our work.

Mantles

I have Western maple, myrtle, and redwood rustic and fine mantels from 2 to 6 inches thick, up to 10 feet long. My wood is dried carefully. It is more stable and won`t crack excessively for a more refined finish, showing the woods grain at its best.
